The Minister of Land Reform and Rural Development in South Africa has given permission to the Metsimaholo Municipality and Department of Human Settlements to proceed with the Wonderfontein development without giving any grounds for his decision. The development must meet certain requirements as set out by the municipality’s Tribunal, but despite the five-year period they have not been able to meet any of those requirements.
